Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting—
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
This Mary Oliver poem has always been a favorite of mine. For me, it invokes a spirit of staying true to oneself and trusting your belonging in the universe. Like wild geese, we are all called to soar to new places at different times in our lives.
This fall I will answer my own call and launch my counseling practice! Woo-hoo! *happy dance* Indeed, this adventure is propelling me out of my comfort zone but most days my excitement outshines my nervous jitters.
Beginning October 1st, I will see all clients out of my new space in The Highland Building in the Poncey Highlands area. I’m looking forward to being more centrally located in town and hanging out in a relaxing and cozy office.
I invite each of you to listen out for what’s calling you this season too. And I’d love to support you in tuning into those calls of the heart! Now is a great time to schedule some much-deserved time for yourself before the holiday rush.
For a limited time, buy 4 sessions up-front between now and October 31st, and use them by December 31st, 2015, and get 20% off.
If you’re a returning client, this can be an excellent way to get a tune-up. And if you’re new, this is a great opportunity to get you started on our journey and work together.
Contact me for scheduling to take advantage of the special offer.
Like the wild geese in Mary Oliver’s poem, may you open up to what’s calling you and bravely soar into greatness this season.
See you soon, and I’ll put some water on for tea!
